“Let’s Swap” is the 9th semiannual event. The event will occur Friday, October 17th from 5-8pm and Saturday, October 18th at Prairie Hills Mall.
The mission of the event is to provide families and care givers with an opportunity to get second hand and/or new clothing at a very reasonable rate or for free. Additionally, we will have shopping opportunities for patrons. This event occurs every October and April. The goal is to help families struggling to get entirely new wardrobes due to change of season or size for their children or themselves (women and men). Families and Caregivers will have an opportunity to donate clothes the weeks prior to the event and receive a coupon(s) for free bags of clothes for their donation.

The first “Let’s Swap” event took place October 23rd, 2021, at The Prairie Hills Mall. It was a huge success. Over 36 families donated clothes and miscellaneous items for the swap. Additionally, about another 30 families got clothes which they purchased by donation. For the 2nd Semi Annual Let’s Swap 24 families donated clothes with over 100 bags of clothes being received. At that event 34 families/individuals were served and 210 bags of sponsored United Way clothing bags were purchased by monetary donation or given for FREE.

Since then, the event has brought in donations of over 900 bags of clothes donated.
